Applications of differential calculus in everyday life

Mathematics had its emergence in the practical problems that humanity encountered at the beginning of the journey of knowledge. Given this, it's intrinsically related to reality. Notably, the calculation is vast in relation to its applicability in the most varied daily situations. Thus, the present research work aimed at the study and later the identification of everyday situations that can be modeled by functions and solved through differential calculus. Making the study of derivatives and their applicability,
confirmed by mean of activities developed in the process of research maturation, different calculus was found in everyday situations, such as when washing clothes, minimizing the clothing line length and the location of the desk with the best viewing angle. Exposing in this way, how mathematics and more specifically, of differential calculus is connected to the daily life of people and how it can be
used in the analyzing and solving our daily problems.
